Gavin D. J. Harper (born 1986) is a technology author based in Cardiff, Wales. He left school aged 16 before studying for A levels. Aged 17 he enrolled on an Open University degree course in technology and, at the same time, started writing his first book ''50 Awesome Auto Projects for the Evil Genius''.
